‘Like Lightning’ stemmed from a quiet moment of reflection at my piano. It was written around the same time as making the ‘Constellation’ album. I was reading a book of poems by Olivia Harrison dedicated to George Harrison, called ‘Came The Lightening’. It’s a beautiful book filled with heartache but also hope and it really moved and inspired me. The release of this song coincides with the start of my first headline tour. I’m really looking forward to sharing music from ‘Constellation’ with you.
